How to get that first Toes to Bar with Wards Gym Coach Callum Ward.

Don’t over complicate the process. Start with step one, Active Catch position. As you grab the bar bring tension to your midline and back and let your body fall through the line of the swing. Step two, Add on the knee raise. Once your body has fallen through the line of the swing with tension you then want to time your knee raise to come with you out of the bottom of the swing. Once you can nail these two steps it’s just about timing and tension to bring the toes the rest of the way. Hopefully this helps a few of you get your first Toes to Bar in the Open.
